why would anyone be pro-ana, pro-mia, or all that other shit? why would anyone actively CHOOSE to have no energy, look like a 12 year old boy and feel ill?
ive been ill. before i was diagnosed with diabetes, i was 15 and so ill that my weight dropped to around seven stone (almost 100 lbs maybe? lol i dont do very well adding up in my head haha). i looked and felt dreadful. my bones stuck out, i could hardly move, and i just wanted to lie around all day and cry. ok, it wasnt just how i looked, i was actually close to dying by the time it got caught and i was taken to hospital.
but it took a really serious illness for me to look the way some of these idiots WANT to look. and im sorry, but yes, its idiotic.
i always have to say this, if you have a real, specific eating disorder, then GO GET HELP. you KNOW that you shouldnt be that way. no matter how hard it is, or how deeply ingrained it all is in your mind. if you know you have an eating disorder, you also know that you should NOT be living that way.
as difficult as it seems, and how long the road may seem to be. take baby steps and get HELP.
but im just talking about the silly people who just want to be ”skinny” at all costs. and yes, thats a very good way of putting it. you arent ever going to get good things from it. the cost can be very high. your health, your skin, your hair, your energy. and thats just the surface stuff. what about messing up your insides? crapping all over your organs? shortening your life? yeah, deal with it. thats whats going to happen if you carry on starving yourself for the sake of a frigging tiny pair of shorts.
stop telling everyone how great it is. it isnt. its stupid, ugly, immature, ridiculous, and INCREDIBLY harmful.
yeah, im done again. this shit only comes out of me every now and again, but its gonna keep coming.
